2021 was a straightforward vintage allowing us to create a wine that is balanced, deep purple in colour and fragrant with an abundance of fruits. It’s a rich, generous wine, with the structure to age and complement a range of foods. Fruit flavours - think blackberry, cherry, and black olive topped with plenty of spice. A faint aroma of fine toasted French oak barrels. Gentle yet full-flavoured, it’s young! Beautiful strong tannins; despite its youth, and with a gentle long palate. An excellent vintage that will cellar for 10 years or more. The older it becomes, the richer the flavours.
